Parrots, Two-tone fingerfin... call them what you like, these fish that look like they escaped a Japense Koi pond make great eating, and this one was near record size... the Jan Bruin, well it was a case of mistaken identity... twice...

Klipspringer surprise! Guess what these two were looking at?

Driving on one of numerous old forestry roads at the back of Eikenhof dam, I spotted these two Klipspringer... on previous occasions they started running well before I could get a good shot by today the actually approached me... and there was one obvious reason why!
